A few years ago Michael Horton wrote, Christ didn't come to make bad pepole good; he came to make dead pepole alive. I'm grateful to be part of a wonderful fellowship. Our pastor of 29 yrs. is an expository teacher and sound in his doctrine. As you exit our sanctuary through any of three doors, you'll notice a sign reading, you are now entering the mission field. Yet, at our monthly evangelism meeting last Thursday there were only seven pepole in attendance. That's less than one percent! I don't get it! Jesus words in Mark 16:15 weren't a suggestion, they were a command.
