Sometimes we read the blogs of fellow missionaries to see how they cope and deal with many of the things we also encounter. It's amazing that missionaries all over the world can experience many of the same things. A blog I like is called Texas in Africa and I especially like her post "Your First Time in Africa" where she gives advice to first timers (most of which are short-termers coming on their first missions trip). For us, just replace the word "Africa" with "Latin America!"
