Tonight we joined with our church to help out at their VBS. It was
definitely a bit of culture shock to see the animated kids jumping
around singing their songs and going to their different stations. Our
youngest told me it was "weird" for him, but he ended up having a good
time. His group made up care packages for the homeless in Charlotte,
someone is going to deliver them this week. They will also be going to
the children's hospital to visit sick kids and bring them coloring
books and crayons. I think it's great that the kids are doing service
projects and getting out of the four walls even for VBS!
