Tonight a male admirer of Gena gave her a beautiful hand-drawn and colored picture of a boy on his knees with some words in Spanish and the scripture reference of II Chronicles 28:20, which says:
"Tiglath-Pileser king of Assyria came to him [King Ahaz of Israel] but he gave him trouble instead of help."
We pondered over this verse which was so elegantly referenced in the picture and wondered what the young man was trying to communicate and then tried FIRST Chronicles 28:20 which, we think, is the one he meant:
"David said to Solomon his son, 'Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord God, my God, is with you. He will not forsake you until all the work for the service of the temple of the Lord is finished."
So, we had a good laugh that perhaps he had really meant what he'd referenced and maybe he was telling Gena that she was more trouble than anything else...which we think, in this case, is probably true.
This guy MUST have meant the 2nd Chron. verse - Gena causes much trouble and can get into a lot as well. She can also get OTHER PEOPLE in trouble - *ahem* - me. Anyways, Gena = Trouble - remember that one. I miss you, G, and hope to see you in May! Attempt to stay out of trouble (I know it's hard). I love you and watch out for these boys... -Rachel
