Today I went to the post office and was surprised to find THREE packages from our dear friend in Concord, Crystal (and her daughter Elizabeth, of course). One package had Saint Patrick Day stuff, one had some Easter stuff, and one had some bulletin board stuff. You guys can't imagine how much it brightens our day to receive little packages like this from the US. I am so excited to dye easter eggs with the boys this year! Another little thing was that in the envelope was FOOD COLORING! I have been making my own cakes, and bought a cake decorating thingie when I was in the US, but it's no fun if you don't have colored frosting. Isn't it neat how those little things can make such a difference?
So, if you have missionary friends abroad and wonder what to send them, just remember that the thought counts. It means a lot to be remembered even with little things like four-leaf clover doilies, Southern Living magazine, and Easter egg paper plates!
